Where you start
- Default landing:
/console/ops-manager/pre-alert(or dispatch jobs if Transport-only). - Sidebar: pre-alert, receiving, putaway, inventory, fulfillment, handling-units, locations, POD, fleet, drivers, dispatch.
Daily 5-minute scan
- Pre-alert queue — anything urgent today?
- Receiving exceptions — shortages, damage, QC holds.
- Fulfillment SLA — orders aging at open.
- Live tracking — drivers on time?
- Inventory adjustments — anyone over-adjusting?
Top tasks
- Create pre-alert → /console/ops-manager/pre-alert
- Adjust inventory → /console/ops-manager/inventory → Adjust Inventory
- Build a route plan → /console/business/dispatch/tracking → Create Route Plan
- Assign driver → open job → Assign Driver
- Correct POD → /console/ops-manager/pod → Correct POD
Permissions you have
- WMS read/write across receiving, putaway, picking, packing.
- Dispatch jobs/routes/fleet — full.
- POD finalize + correct.
- Inventory adjust + cycle counts.
- Read access to billing for context.
If something goes wrong
- Operator can't pick → scan-mismatch usually means the bin is mis-stocked. Have them re-locate and pick from the correct location.
- Driver running late → check Live Tracking, intervene early.
- Capacity exceeded on putaway → split the HU, or assign a bigger location.
- Customer questions about ETA → use POD timeline and tracking links.
