Where you start
- Default landing:
/console/operator/locations— your scan hub. - Sidebar: receiving, putaway, fulfillment (pick & pack), inventory, shipments.
Your tools
- Phone or tablet with a barcode scanner.
- A scale at the pack station.
- Carton dimensioner (or measuring tape).
- Label printer (thermal preferred).
Receive a truck
- Open
/console/operator/receiving. - Pick the pre-alert from the queue.
- Scan SKU → enter received units → flag damage/shortage if any → Accept.
- Repeat for every line.
- Click Complete Receiving.
Put away an HU
- Open
/console/operator/putaway. - Pick an HU, walk to the suggested bin.
- Scan the bin barcode to confirm.
- Click Confirm Placement.
Pick + pack + label
- Pick: scan HU → scan SKU → enter units → Complete Pick.
- Pack: weigh every carton (use the scale, never guess), enter dimensions, add items, Complete Pack.
- Label: pick carrier + service, confirm parcels, Generate Label, print, stick.
- Mark Dispatched when handed to carrier.
Common errors — what to do
- Scan rejected — wrong location or wrong SKU on the carton. Find the right stock; don't override.
- Capacity exceeded — split the HU or scan a different bin.
- Carrier API error — usually a bad address. Fix and retry.
- Carton weight skipped — go back, weigh it. Missing weights cost the company money.
